We couldn't not select artworks by #MarianneNorth, renowned Victorian artist & botanical painter. Lachenalias and Butterflies, South Africa (1882) and Foliage and Fruit of the Akee, Jamaica (1872) are both from @kewgardens Marianne North Gallery.

Another @artukdotorg #OnlineArtExchange choice by curator, Kat, is Sir Joshua Reynold's 'Lady Bampfylde' (1776-77) held at the @Tate.
We have a mezzotint engraving by Thomas Watson of the same image, apparently so sought-after they turned Lady Bampfylde into an 18thC pin-up!
Exciting #wip by #BuryCreatives as they create a new colouring book for @buryartshop!
The group were inspired by the architecture of our beautiful building and they’ve picked up details from floor mosaics, cornices & stained glass.
We look forward to seeing the finished piece!
