Our growing collection encompasses one of the largest selection of dining room furniture in the country, including English and French seating.
This unusual English secrétaire made during the first quarter of the 19th century is constructed from the most beautiful flamed Cuban mahogany. The fall-front panel is set with a rare hand-painted porcelain plaque depicting Venus & Cupid after the original by Franceschini.
Today’s inspiration is brought to you by the pure elegance of Empress Eugénie’s bedroom at Saint Cloud. It’s always great to see contemporary furniture in its original setting. The circular table was designed by Weisweiler, and we currently have a pair available on our website.
Happy 300th Birthday to Thomas Chippendale, who was born on this day! This fine set of 12 dining chairs is a direct translation of a design by Chippendale himself, who wrote “these ribband back chairs... are the best I have ever seen (or perhaps have ever been made).”
This very elegant #Regency serving table took its inspiration from the designs of George Smith, and can be seen in our showroom today.
George Smith’s ‘Collection of Designs for Household Furniture’ was dedicated to the Prince of Wales when published in 1808
