Did this one a few months back but never shared it - this is Penny, my wife’s sister’s pup, and one of the great dogs of our lives.
I don’t get a lot of time for oil painting these days, so it was nice to get back into for this piece.

Two watercolors of my youngest I did for Christmas presents for his grandparents.

Some recent gouache and watercolor sketches. With two young boys and Covid, not a lot of chances for plein air or travel, so I’ve been enjoying revisiting former locations and exploring our Maryland countryside around our home as a subject.

I did a few gouache studies yesterday to try and get back into painting after not doing much of it over the last few weeks.
It’s such a weird, satisfying medium. And it felt really good to paint.

Today I was looking at my sketchbook from a trip @jharacampbell and I took. It made me really feel the state of not being able to travel somewhere and freely sit and paint like this.

Excited for when the world allows for this again, safely.

We’re also having a really interesting conversation about if in SoM the Mana Beast was Flammie.

I vote yes but it’s debatable.
