Makes me happy seeing more and more people take to The Disappearance of Haruhi Suzumiya as an annual Christmas tradition.
I've loved it since I first saw it way back in 2010. I have no hesitation calling it Kyoto Animation's magnum opus.
It's my favorite movie of all time.
COMPLETE - Pacific Rim (rewatch)
Guillermo Del Toro made his own mecha anime on an American studio's dime and it's amazing.
The premiere episode of #UruseiYatsura is better than I ever could have hoped.
Captures the manic energy of Rumiko Takahashi's manga perfectly, and the production is full of style and flair. Colorful, wild, gleefully insane, and full of top-notch visual design and storyboarding.
I ADORE how the opening has panels animated from the manga, recreating Takahashi's original style. Such a fun touch. #UruseiYatsura

@CharMayCry "Yes, these are normal Americans", said Araki with a grin.
1994 was a hell of a year for anime, turns out.
