Batman related inspirations come from many different suits such as Batman Noel, Injustice 2 Batman, and some flavor from Christian Bale's Batman.
Other things that were brought over were his red gloves. The retractable blades on his gauntlets are actually the dagger that Joker is most often depicted with.
One of the design tid-bits I wanna show is that Ren's bat symbol is actually based on the shape of his mask in Persona 5.
