Of course it isn't just animation that can get support from the indie scene but games as well!
Indie is also the closest you will get to the cartoon community being able to directly support shows and keep them alive.
If you want creativity to succeed then we need to focus on supporting indie animation. Don't pitch to studios. Especially right now. Stay Indie. You'll get a lot more freedom and you're in charge of your shows fate. And you own it too! It's not easy but I'd say it's worth it
And the biggest problem is they still think it's the early 2010s and cartoons with deep lore and dark stories are unappreciated when that was the majority of the 2010s and its the closest thing to mainstream at this point and the community should be focusing on endorsing variety
The world exists outside of Twitter and the cartoon community. Not everyone has the same interests as those you interact with and by convincing yourself otherwise is foolish. If we were the general audience most of those shows would be alive while these would've ended a while ago
