i wanted to draw a concept of what i think steve's friend group on earth would look like
they're a small gang of oddballs who have no idea about what steve is actually doing and what the checkpoint is

who else thought steve was going to try to talk mesa out of fighting when they saw this scene

another theory is that his gloves give him psychokinetic/telekinetic abilities, which explain this scene.

if my peridot theory is correct, his actual arm would be located approximately here.

they also expand, similar to how Spinel's limbs expand in the Steven Universe Movie, suggesting that maybe he is one of the two options.
