No.3 SUPERMAN: THE MOVIE (WB, 1978)
Are you familiar with director Frank Capra’s iconic Christmas film “It’s A Wonderful Life” (1946)? Let me walk you through it…

Quinones' mimicry is astonishing and his characters are warm and engaging, Jordan Gibson's colors are glowing while undertaking a gargantuan task, and Humphries finds an emotional angle to the almost-ubiquitous Save-The-Multiverse type story...

Just Finished: DIAL H FOR HERO
This is included in my recent run of superhero comics that are a lot of fun to read, but it's worth mentioning that it's also genuinely one of the best books to come out of DC in this century.

Just finished: Blackhawk No.263. Goddamn. In this issue, Stan is tested as leader while the Nazi's monstrous War Wheel is unleashed from a mysterious berth in the sky. Meanwhile, Blackhawk confronts the killer Domino, whose whole tragic life story is told and also she gets shot.
