A wanderer and his faithful Blep. The the patterns on the man’s robe are fashioned after Djerma stripwoven cotton from Niger, if I have that correct.
I got a neat book detailing some of the multitude of Africa’s textile history across its regions. The trousers are based off trousers commonly worn by the Dorze People in Southern Ethiopia. Typically reserved for those that killed in battle, now used as general ceremonial gear.
