#CambridgeMaFireHistory 5 year anniversary: On 3 Dec 2016, Box 10-236, 10+ alarms were ordered for the conflagration, displacing many residents, in the Berkshire St neighborhood. Fire was controlled by firefighters from 34 engines & 16 ladders.
Time of the initial alarm: 253 pm.

#CambridgeMaFireHistory: On 7 May 1970 3 alarms were ordered, Box 3-48, for Lawrence Hall at Cambridge & Kirkland Sts. Several firefighters were injured in a collapse. All were quickly extricated & treated.
Time: 459 a.m.

#CambridgeFireHistory: On 10 Jan 1973, 3 alarms were ordered, Box 3-363 for the fire at AAA Plastics, a plastics manufacturing plant at 32 Valentine St.
136 firefighters were treated for injuries; 93 were transp to hospitals.
Time of the alarm: 1030 am.
All out: 12 Jan at 204 pm.

#CambridgeFireHistory: On 3 Dec 2016, 10 alarms + numerous special calls were ordered, Box 10-236, for the conflagration in the Berkshire St neighborhood. Sixteen buildings were destroyed or damaged.
Firefighters from 53 fire companies fought to contain the fire.
Time: 253 pm.

#CambridgeFireHistory: On 7 May 1970, 3 alarms were ordered, Box 3-48, for the fire in Lawrence Hall, a bldg at Cambridge & Kirkland Sts. Several firefighters, including Chief of Dept Cremins, were trapped & injured in a collapse but all were quickly rescued.
Time was 450 a.m.

Cambridge Fire history: 10 Jan 1973, 1030 am, 3 alarms, Box 3-363 for the AAA plastics factory, 2 story bldg at 32 Valentine St.. 15 engines, 4 ladders, & the rescue worked at the fire. One hundred thirty six (136) FFs were transported to hospitals for inhalation of toxic fumes.
