Another addition and another snippet of a piece I worked on 3 years ago... gonna need to remake it
Peonies - usually mean "blooming romances" and "new beginnings" you can see a few, but they hide a black dahlia flower that's almost slipping off frame.
Black Dahlia - betrayal; the cause of their affair. Who knows, the butler could just decide to get rid of their master...
Black ribbon tied around their neck - being tied to a marriage they're no longer happy in. Also meant to look like a bit of a collar: mostly kept as a trophy, neglected, and/or abused.
Ring indention - pretty obvious, taken off as soon as their husband's out.
Close ups and smaller details! This took FOREVER and I'm glad I was able to finish it after a year (or 2??)
The most obvious one is the shadow running down Sera's face (it's pretty straight forward), then you have the ribbon tied around Stray's neck, ring indention, and flowers.
