Second choice would be Greninja. This is a pokemon he typically reserves for more, difficult, trainers. Protean changes Greninja to the type of the move that it’s using making it very hard to predict. It’s versatility make it a great asset and major threat.
The second part of Vulom’s team starts with the Slot 4 which varies based on what he’s feeling about his opponent. In this case, he’ll go for one of three, the first being Weavile. It’s speed mixed with it’s powerful priority Ice attacks makes it a good check for Dragons.
Slot 3 varies on what he feels will shake up his opponent the most. Drapion walls Fairy-Types and make things harder with Toxic Spikes, Houndoom can become a serious threat if allowed a Nasty Plot, and Honchkrow can become a physical sweeper if it gets a K.O. thanks to Moxie.
2.) Tyranitar, Rock/Dark-Type, Sand Stream for its ability, with the moves:
Stealth Rock
Earthquake
Dragon Dance
Crunch
Tyranitar becomes a defensive juggernaut thanks to the sandstorm. It sets up Stealth Rock to double down the pressure on the enemy team.
1.) Spiritomb, Ghost/Dark-Type, Pressure for its ability, with the moves:
Will-O-Wisp
Dark Pulse
Pain Split
Confuse Ray
Spiritomb immediately shuts down any Fighting Type aces. It’s bulk also makes it hard to deal much damage to it. He uses it to scout the enemy team.
Vulom’s Team of Pokemon is never the same. Obviously he is a Dark-Type user. He is more than aware of their weaknesses and plans ahead when taking on challengers. Three of his Pokemon he uses no matter what and the other three he chooses after calculating what’ll shake things up.
FF: Vulom advises to those who go to library of the Battle Atheneum to NOT use it as a napping area. Some may drown themselves in the books, while others fall asleep. His librarians tell visitors to avoid sleeping there because Darkrai likes roaming the Library.
