Stop.

Look at crash on the run and crash 4's design. Their different, they have their similarities, but their different.

If crash's design isn't 1 : 1 why would you expect it to be 1 : 1 for Spyro's.

Calm down.

It was a short week, and I spent most of it filing my taxes and house hunting with my wife only to discover from the bank that we can't afford a house, and I went into a disappointed slump.
