Between her, Moochie and Spiamer, we’re getting a ton of cool girls in SK and people are missing ouuuuuuuut

But! I'd like to point out that it's a little strange!

In the last 10 years or so, Takei has done a lot of exploring and tweaking and experimenting with how he draws black characters.

He's a big Marvel/Avengers/movie fan who is very receptive to changes in the scene.

Supposedly, one of the primary origin points of this particular look was an American creator of "golliwog dolls".
Apparently it was just a happy little doll before it got Pepe-ed somewhere back in the day, but who knows if that's true or if the family is saving face 🤷‍♀️🤷‍♂️
