The Usagi character intro is a much better start to the episode than the "this episode preview" (weird! never seen that before) or even the iconic OP (great visuals but I think I heard the song too much it's rote for me already lol)
This is much more endearing imo

Sorry for lack of screenshots but I found it really funny that Bocchi the Rock not only references Ashita no Joe, but the characters reference the dialogue from that scene too, and when they say "congrats" and "That's the wrong show!" they're referring to NGE lol

This year I started watching 2 eps of Naruto every day, and tonight I finished right on schedule!

I'm so glad to have watched it, I think it's the best Shounen Jump anime I've seen (I've seen almost all the major ones except 🏴‍☠️ and 🐲🟠)

I get fans are able to go "Look! There's that shot from the manga!!" And good for them but to me that's literally all it amounts to, a "reference." I wanted to see this moment ADAPTED not simply featured in an anime. Not impressed.
