AFAICS, if black tries to defend against the checkmate threat with Qh6, Nxf7 wins the queen (Rxf7/Kxh7, then Bxh6).

Really nice checkmate, but to be honest, I nearly missed it! Until I remembered my opponent's pawn was pinned by my bishop. 😄

Blitz chess, 5 minutes allowed.

Was down to last 20 or so seconds, played a check in a panic, and the computer confirmed it was checkmate. 😇

Opponent resigned following me offering a queen sacrifice - I don't think they are able to defend against a back row checkmate.

The attack started with a Danish Gambit Accepted opening. YouTube research suggested to keep the bishops - made sure I did and it paid off. #Chess

Very satisfying chess win - love it when the pieces combine with those long-range diagonals!

First result in my Gameknot chess comeback - a win as black.

Blundered a minor piece early, but was able to capitalize on a strong pawn centre, advancing and queening for the win.
