1995 - I didn't even have to look at the list of games that came out that year. Chrono Trigger. No contest. I still remember my dad trying to talk me out of it 'cause it was a full $50 vs getting a couple cheaper games. Still have the original cartridge around here-
1999 - Mario Party, the OG. My friends destroyed controllers, palms, and relationships with each other ALL that summer, it was the best time ever.
https://t.co/SuUXnOZh2F - Fortnite night? Fortnite night. Sure, why not. Lesgo!
2004 - No contest, Knights of the Old Republic 2. Was it unfinished? Yes. Was it borderline broken? Also Yes. Did I absolutely love it and still play it's patched-up-to-hell pc version off and on nowadays? Absolutely.
2005 - A lot of good games this year, but my winner would have to be Resident Evil 4. It's still a great game after all these years!
2008 - Fable 2. Could you Do Everything? No. But it was very very fun. Easily played through it 4-5 times back when it came out.

"Hey, lil dude, can you give me a hand? I apparently just lost my last top. Think you can get me one from the emergency stash at the front desk? I'll find a way to make it up to ya-"
2013 - MGR: Revengeance. The game about memes that still memes 9 years later. It's a great game. Trying to find a time to elbow it back into the stream schedule again this year-
