Drawing is really a process of discovery. You never know what you will learn till you start. Then the journey allows you to discover truths you never knew existed.

My high school art teacher, a graduate of Pratt Institute used to say: “Nothing is better than a good drawing.” Everyday I attempt to live up to his expectations.

Drawing helps me become intimate with the subject. I find drawing a useful outlet for ideas for which there is not enough time to create on canvas.
