A little more work done on my new canvas. I feel I have captured the essence of the Shropshire Hills. I absolutely LOVE this view. I live in the distance (beyond the hills). Our beautiful Shire.

So... I’m contemplating my next move and having my oils out.... I decided to go for it! Here’s the next couple of stages... The Wrekin has appeared in the distance... in OILS!!

I'm quite enjoying this oil painting business! I've painted this today in the studio inspired by my walk yesterday - the sun was low and the light lit up the tractor tracks in the fields and sparkled.
