I hate the trope of turning classic super villains into jokes and de-escalating their threat level. Obviously I don’t want the comics to be too serious but some tension would be nice. So I really appreciate that this comic is trying to make Mysterio a more credible threat.

@carlos_esconde Sometimes a simple set up like standing in front of a window is all you need. There is a panel from Berserk that people love that’s very similar.

When I think of Stegman I actually think of Superior #1 or his incredible She-Hulk variant cover.

@carlos_esconde I’m not a fan of it either. I’m really happy that so many people gravitated to that story though! Thanks to that story there are a lot of new Spidey fans which is cool! And even though I don’t like multiverse Spidey I think it can be done well, like in Spider-Geddon!

@CalexStreams As a swimmer I would love to see a collection of swimsuit skins in the game! They could even take inspiration from the Marvel Swimsuit Specials from the 90s!

About to start reading this for the first time but if you know anything about me you know there are two artists I really don’t like. One of them is Greg Land. Nothing against him as a person but I’m sorry I really just don’t like his artwork. Hopefully I can look past that!

I really miss going to conventions and comic stores to collect comic book back issues. That was something I loved doing that I haven’t been able to do for so long because of Covid.
