@ccboyo Sorry that I've been away from Twitter for a few days (nothing wrong - or not any more than it is already!!) but life has interceded to interrupt every single planned day I've had this week! Bummer!

@ccboyo Visited Osborne Ward yest to hand over goodies for Steve, & had some startling news - chemo set for 11 Jan had NEVER been scheduled, but neither S nor I knew that. No letter's been received.
Nor does anyone know what's happening re S's heart problems.
Tried to find out yest.
Seems to me situation re Steve's mental & physical health has been cocked up from the word "go". No-one paying attention, or liaising, arrogant medicos who think they know better (when they definitely don't) etc.
Huge complaint coming on - started drafting email to PALS already.
@ccboyo Gave chiropodist a miss the morning as didn't feel well enough and the forecast was dodgy.
Parcelled up the items to go to Steve today, but when I got there found out that NO chemo had been scheduled and no-one seems to know why. Started checking round on return home - nada!
It DOES pain me not to talk to him, as I'd dearly love to talk to my Boo-boo. Trouble is that Boo-boo isn't there at the moment...... he's been replaced by something monstrous.
It's early days yet, so no real recovery, but I'm willing him on with every waking moment.
However, Twitter followers have kept me going with their kind comments, suggestions and company. So a great all round NHS-style clap for Twitter and the peeps that contribute xxxx
Have decided (hopefully) as, I'm feeling a bit better, and can actually walk in a straight line, I slept a bit more last night too, I might try to take suitcase etc to 7acres myself.... still pondering that one.
Just waiting 2 c if HTT will call at the end of their meeting.
The info supplied from Steve, via his nurse, was that he has an appointment today at the Cardiology Unit. Not much to some of you, but it's a hell of a start for us, and really made my day (I'd been on the verge of calling the Samaritans it had been such an awful day.
