A gift I did of my first bf back in 2012.
Those were some of my darkest times as a kid, tbh. I got infatuated with this guy over text while on vacation, and felt the urge to come out to my mother when we got back. Traumatic is an understatement of how that went.
After Cascadia I moved on to this rather brightly-colored creature for a while. I had no clue what kind of beak to give him and that gave me a a lot of frustration for some reason
It's so surreal to look back at pieces like this. It's so removed from what I do now. I'm weirdly still kinda proud of this one.
