My process on making Jennifer Strange 2 is to fill my sketchbook with character designs and their look/feel before I sit down and make the real thing in highly rendered pencils/charcoals and inks so they feel all smoky. I learned a new process I’m excited to bring to book 2:

New characters are coming, and I’m sure you can tell by the name Pennie Strange is related to Jennifer. Coming up with what the characters look like for book two is super important for plans I have for the comic portions. #jenniferstrange #sketchbook

The Cover is turned in! Class is done! I'm so SO glad I did this. I had no idea how much I would love illustrating children's books until I did Make Art That Sells. I can’t thank Lilla Rogers, Zoe Tucker, and all my classmates for everything I learned so fast. Highly recommend!
