Kayla's hero name is Amina and as badass as she is, she's still just a teenager who lost her dad, and had to fight to rescue her mom.

Kayla is a reluctant hero at first (her stats below) but she embraces it when her parents and others are in danger. She later joins a teenage resistance against Foresight & starts showcasing a lot of leadership skills in her own right.

Noble is one part superhero action adventure, one part family-centric drama. David is first & foremost a father & husband to his family while trying now to balance life as a black superhero.

Alright so I wanted to do a big damn thread that highlights our black characters for #BlackHistoryMonth and give some shine to some of our black creators behind the scenes as well. I made a whole folder for this cause that sparks joy in my life don't judge.

Our last couple! And y'all know who it is David/Astrid from Noble (V1-4 #1-19)! If the CPU had A Couple it'd be David/Astrid they're a battle couple & a do-whatever-it-takes-for-each-other couple. Crime lords, shady governments, whatever these two are in everything together.

Second to last couple is Josita/Lorena (Noble V3 #10-14). Lorena is full of secrets, morally gray attitudes, & for sure has blood on her hands but hey Josita loves her anyway. If there's a person Lorena can be Soft w it's her girlfriend Josita.

BUT Val's found new love in Dani (Summit V3 #10 - 14) who's different from Kay in so many ways. For the first time in a long time Val feels light again. But Dani's got some secrets of her own so we'll have to see what @AmyChu's got planned for them!

So Val's had some great loves in her life: science, space, and then there was Kay who died during The Event that gave Val her powers (Summit V1 # 1-4). After Val has struggled w grief over Kay, and has never forgotten how important Kay was to her. 😭😭

Luckily it's not all doom and gloom for romance in Kino (V3 #10-14), Gilmour & Eduardo just got engaged. What's more romantic than proposing to your boo after a mission impossible style fight in a bathroom with a mercenary who's also kinda your frenemy?
