@jonpa_draws A friend of mine did his Master's on a very similar topic, but instead of human waste it was on ethanol plant waste, and they were growing edible fungus from the industrial waste stream.
The fungus is fed to animals but maybe ... (haven't decided if this will be canon yet 🤔).

@squidmamaart I'd also point out that, having spent a lot of time in Asian communities in particular, a lot of black hair is not hex-value 000 black, or charcoal gray for that matter. It's a very particular shade of brown, which I'm still trying to get just right.
