Trying to find a way to do simple background characters that blend in and make the main ones stand out like old UPA cartoons and Fairly OddParents

I think with some more shading and some work in After Effects it'll work nice

Threw together a quick sketchy mock-up based on one of the shots from my animatic! Ferret guy will look a lot more refined in the final haha
