It's my 6 year anniversary in Japan today.
I was 22 and by myself when I arrived. I used to buy random onigiri from the conbini cause I couldn't read the labels. I was planning to stay here 1 year and head back.
It's been a fun journey so far, I hope I can have fun forever🥰
I finished my rewatch of Earth Maiden Arjuna last night (地球少女アルジュナ) and it's still beautiful and criminally underrated.
It's not perfect, but it tackles how modern humans have forgotten how to live off the planet as we strive for convivence. Created by Shoji Kawamori.
