Today’s #Nativember is “Animals” so I had to draw one of #Marvel ‘s newest character Amka Aliyak aka Snowguard. She is a Nunavut Inuit from Canada gifted the power of Inua spirit Sila. Snowguard can transform into animals while using the spiritual energy of the Aurora Borealis.

Today’s #Nativember prompt is “Favorite Story”, growing up Strega Nona was one of my favorite stories about a local witch written by Tomie dePaola. This twist uses some influence from his other children’s book The Indian Paintbrush.

I love reading @79SemiFinalist Marvel books because they’re low key team up books. Captain Marvel has Jessica, Hazmat, Rhodes (now future kids) and Deadpool has Elsa and Jeff the Landshark (amongst other monsters). She does such a great job featuring everyone not just the main.
