Today I made a little bat character. I wasn’t planning on designing anything to sell yet, just practicing, so I only sketched and colored him without really cleaning anything up. He looks friendly!

Made some more progress! I still need to make a background. (I never want to shade and highlight my characters. I always feel like I ruin them. I might not do that this time.)

What kind of characters do you like the best? CUTE? FUNNY? GOOFY? RELATABLE? Another choice? Or a mixture?

I had a dream about rainbow lightning. It was really cool.
Yesterday I decided to try to create it digitally. (I had no clue how to make lightning, so I had to grab some tips from a post that credited an Isaac Orloff on “painting electricity”.)
