Charley Sherman recently found an old photo of Clive Barker signing the poster I designed for the stage adaptation of Barker's, In The Flesh. Clive was kind enough to fly in to Chicago to see the play on opening night. To quote him - we were, "terrifying."

Moonchildren is likely the first theatrical play poster I ever made. I loved the aesthetic of the 60s underground comics movement. Especially the typography. 35 years later I made this second image for my friend, DJ Zulu. (Both hand-drawn, 2nd image has CG color)
Sketch to finish. (When I did the artwork for the first computer generated comic book (Shatter) for First Comics, I would sketch my ideas out on paper so I had a roadmap and then drew them on the MacPlus. No scanners.)
Back in the late 80s I was asked to provide a software company (Whitewater) with a computer generated comic book that would be serialized on their manual's chapter title pages. Here is the splash page (made on a MacPlus with Full paint software.)
Sketch to finish. My theatre poster for WildClaw's production of Arthur Machen's The Great God Pan. Adapted and directed by Charley Sherman.
Plays a synth in 1979 - “You’re bad for music.”
Draws with a computer in 1984 - “You’re bad for art.”
NFTs in 2021 - “I used to respect you as an artist, but I won’t follow any of you now.”
(I’ve got a pretty good idea how this is going to turn out.)
