I don't usually post doodles often but I really like this one. This one is really important to Ven's backstory that I wanted to share it.

For me one of Vendel's features is a reflection of something I have in real life. The crack in his left eye lens has story meaning, but also because I can't see very well out of my left eye. I always thought putting a bit of myself in my characters was fun to do <3

Hugs are very meaningful no matter the size difference. NightStar is always happy to offer Bran the softest hugs possible

It wasn't until later I created Charu as a secondary character. She was designed to be more upbeat and friendly compared to NightStar. Her design has barely changed over the years
