Mega Man 8 to me is the quintessential 2D platformer. The level design is very surreal (in a good way). The music is a nice bend of electronica with a dose of 90s house music, The visual design is SULER colorful and I also find the bad 90s English VO really nostalgic and charming
Wild Guns is a SNES game I got into LONG after the SNES was already done. I first played this game on the Wii U virtual console. Super stylized shooting gallery game. I like the futuristic western aesthetic. The music is great. The Reloaded-Remake is somehow even better.
