Bastard!! was the main inspiration for Guilty Gear and to point this out the first example I always go to beyond its setting is Lars Uhl's influence on Sol Badguy's design
Happy 76th birthday to the legend himself, Go Nagai! Very few manga artists can claim to have a legacy as packed and influential Nagai's, from manga to toku. Anime and manga owe alot to this icon, without him many of the most iconic genre's wouldn't be where they are today!
The finale and the film version Mazinger-Z vs General of Darkness is also stunning, a seriously fantastic sendoff, im gonna start Great soon, but damn Mazinger Z is a good watch, you literally get to see a studio become competent in real time, 70s mecha rocks. (3/3)
Finished reading Nogi Wakaba Is A Hero, probably my favorite entry that ive gone through in the series yet, an excellent prequel with a beautiful message of hope, gonna try and watch The Hero Chapter today to finish this story up in a bit. For now, gotta chill cause damn......
Okay, late September, expect a video on the heavy metal and table top RPG inspired classic manga, Bastard!!. This is gonna be a fun one to talk about.
