@disabled_otd_ When Maria died, he made a pact with a great old one in order to bring a doll he modeled off Maria to life, at the cost of binding him to a dream. The reason he prefers staying in a wheelchair instead of walking is because the doll modeled off his late crush pushes him around.

@disabled_otd_ As his title implies he was one of the first people to take arms against the beast scourge in Yharnam, among other hunters such as Ludwig and Lady Maria, the ladder of which he had a fascination with.

@disabled_otd_ Just a heads up in case anyone feels like playing Bloodborne, it deals with some pretty heavy subjects in the game.
