Watching The Underground Railway- TV series based on the novel. It's by Barry Jenkins so it's beautiful and sensitive - counsellors on set for the cast. But it's utterly brutal so far.
Not sure I should watch it, but Cora is so compelling.

Also illustrator @nubianrockchick does beautiful soft images of Black women reading books and cosy chic that we don't usually see ourselves in.
