This was the original sketch/colours sent to me. Safe to say, I struggled massively. I jiggled it around a lot but tried to keep the overall story that was conveyed but also something which I would have mostly drawn.

Having more than one definite style isn't a bad thing :) I go everywhere from semi-realism to extreme shapes, soft shading, weird perspectives. Sometimes I go more paintery, more structured. It doesn't matter as long as you enjoy yourself. #4styles

What is obsession you ask? Making a wall-paper pattern to fit in that tiny sliver of wall.

Sorta of a walkthrough coming on in the comments of basic pattern making as I go along.

Currently blocked in the basic foundations, gonna shade these in and then start the building process.

@MorrighanCorbel I was in my final year of university. My style was starting to click into place but overall I still didn't know what I was doing. Didn't draw nearly as many cats as I do these days, felt a bit trapped and that illustration was a dumb mistake and that wanted to commission animals.

@DeePeeArts I still feel small, but I’m a big artist according to this. I’ve been a bit bogged down with moving/work the last few weeks but I draw a lot of animals :)

@TheNoisyPencil I've been really enjoying @FinnleyElliott's work lately, especially the last two experimental palette backgrounds. Her work is super vibrant, super expressive and there's some fantastic puppers and kittens in her work ❤️
