One of my favorite things is that Dedede is smiling in 99% of his official art. Not evil grinning, just smiling.

I just love love love this design. It's simple, sweet, and straight to the point. You can see his personality easily, and it's just so gosh darn cute. You'd never know he was a villain without playing the game. Cute, concise art like this is my fav. Definitely a top 3 DDD design
