FF8 and FF9 have VERY different depictions of Carbuncle, the former by Tetsuya Nomura and quite like a simplified interpretation of 5/6’s pixel form. I have no comment on 9’s other than I kind of hate it I’m sorry

Ok but on the subject of ugly Carbuncle, please look at the concept art for it that was released for the FF Anthology. Those sneaks. who is responsible for this monstrosity
