Anger gets a bad rap.
Of course we need to avoid being owned by our anger, pulled away from what we need to be doing, drawn into misery.
But anger can also spur us to righteous action and is perfectly in keeping with Christian virtue. 🧵

A man who loves the fight. His fellow Crusader said Richard would go to whatever part of the battle "raged hottest" and force his way to the front. Imagine what it was like to fight for and with such a king.
During my formative years, the "heroes" they offered me were basketball players, Jedis, child magicians, rappers, and activists. They tried to get me to believe Gandhi & the suffragettes were the peak.
