@canine_doctor You've done it in that first piece- in areas that aren't your focus, lose your edges into the background. Then really hit detail hard in your focus areas

Here's an example - the bottom right is just colour. This (and my values) forces the viewer to look at my focal area (face)-

@LaiDeLart And shows you your values. I've just desaturated your piece here as an example - see how nothing really pops and the lions fade a bit too much into the background?

Your focal highlights should pop out, which is really tricky when they're the same colour as the background!--
