I always thought that this thing had a nose, dumb smile, and beard and that's why I hated it so much but it's supposed to be its plumage

Still wondering why they gave Yoshi Akuma's pose for his victory screen. Is it because the red saddle kinda barely looks like the red symbol? It may never be explained and that might be for the better...
