@fancy_plans In their 2nd/3rdish year of being in the academy, Hubie&Ferdie were partnered on a new planet assignment. It was there they got stranded due to weather shenanigans, and had to rely on each other. It was the turning point in their relationship! Ferdie's hair length was this:
