#Mayshroom Day 31: Favourite Mushroom (Inky Cap)

I wasn’t able to do all of them as I’d hoped, but I knew from the start that I wanted to paint my absolute favourite. I’ve had this idea in my head for a couple of years and I’m really glad that I’ve finally gotten to it.

Kinda dropped off the face of the earth, I’m sorry! I’ve been kind of in my own head for a bit, so I took a little bit of a break from comms to practice some things I was getting frustrated with. Here’s a charr dude with some food.

They’re so close to done and I’m really excited about it! I am IN LOVE with this. One of my favourite designs I’ve done so far.

I was a bit anxious to work on owed art today, but I’m glad I pushed through and stuck with this #Mayshroom because I really like how it turned out.

Candle Ghost

I woke up at 3 am with a vivid image in my mind and felt like I had to draw it or I would die. So here it is.
My priestess character as a goblin bc I love goblins. Kinda wish I made her a goblin now but such is life

I switched to ClipStudio after lamenting over the loss of my idea, and I’m glad I didn’t give up on it.
One of my initial game plans for the prompt was to mix #Mermay and #Mayshroom together, and I’m glad I did that for this one because I think turkey tails make excellent fins!

May 5th! This one was a scaly hedgehog, which is one of my favourites (whore for brown), but I had some trouble figuring out exactly what I wanted to do. I didn’t want to go with the obvious hedgehog theme. I eventually got it though, and I’m really happy with the result!

Painted this one to the music of a thunderstorm.

My friend asked if I wanted to participate in #Mayshroom this year using @paolucci_art’s prompt. I love mushrooms and I really like that the prompt has rest days, so ofc I did! I decided to take the opportunity to practice my painting since it’s much faster than my usual style.
