When Clara and Karen first met in elementary school, Karen thought that Clara came across as very calm and mature. That impression made her too nervous to talk to Clara, but in truth, the both of them were simply too shy to talk to each other.

Because of their mature singing voices, most couldn't believe that Clara and Alice were in middle school. Reading everyone's comments of disbelief made them happy, with Alice saying that any middle schooler would be happy at being thought of as mature.
