This gorgeous 1971 Bernie Wrightson cover for a reprint collection is clearly based upon an Alan Weiss panel from the story "A Bottle of Incense, a Whiff of the Past" in HOUSE OF SECRETS months later. wrote it and wonder if he knows or remembers why the mixup?

11/14/74: Previous Morbius writer Steve Gerber had just moved over to DEFENDERS, so with ADVENTURE INTO FEAR Doug Moench had to conclude the year-long Daemon/Caretakers SF storyline. Gerber plotted the prior issue but - as was his SOP - he'd no plan how he would finish it.
