@Hoarding_books I use colored pencils, and making everything smooth is very tough! For one thing, the tooth (roughness) of the paper can give you lots of white spots. My best advice is:

- Use smaller strokes/circles in at least three directions.
- Color over it thoroughly with lighter tones.

@fwishb0ne My pet theory: Lucien was made empty *deliberately* so he could become the avatar for that bird from the mural. You know, the PHOENIX Matt gave Lucien’s exact color scheme (and emphasized by stating again)....
