Going to redesign the gear mount on top but will try this out to see how it works at least

Support material is for the weak

Have most of the layer fan worked through and the power input/switch mount. Only a few more things and it's good to go!

New effector design, this one will maintain the vacuum in the line and allow the nozzle to release the vacuum with a solenoid. Gotta use some hot glue gaskets because I don't have the right size o-ring lol

V1 is all ready to print, all of the gears seem to work perfectly. Just need to try this out and verify the ratcheting and actuator mechanisms

@Daveexe2 In this case, I added cut planes in areas that would be convenient to split the model to minimize the need for support material. Then I had to add holes/recesses to mount the pieces together with screws. These pics show the unique pieces:
