Part 1/2 -- #2009vs2019 / #2010vs2019

Not the usual format for this meme, but the best way I can measure my own growth is comparing art of my OCs -- most which were created this past decade.

First set for the humans (or human-like, since all of them are pokemon gijinka aha--)

Laughs as I struggle to narrow down my fav/best pieces from 2019 for an #ArtSummary b/c… I didn't draw as much… you'd think it'd be easier

If we're talking polished illustration and not color tests, I'd choose these 4 as my favs from 2019 -- w/ my pokemon fanart not far behind

[2/8] Used Valor to practice with a custom CSP marker tool. This is him as a reaper in that previous demin/angle AU

Mini comic thing from an AU my friends @Whotisthisart, @jinkztweets, and I indulged in where Yamm's worst traits are nixed. The handsome blue leviathan/merman deity, Indra, belongs to Jinkz!

…It led to a spontaneous color test. Really didn't know what direction it would go until I played around with it a bit!

He's not based on a particular octopus species I'll admit, but the glowing rings are inspired by the blue-ringed octopus, so there's that /o/ #DEITIESProject

Next color test + CSP practice w/ the divine crocodile /o/

This color test was more spontaneous, because I’ve already drawn Sobek in color before, but I felt it was a good time as any. Portrait canvas dimensions because his headdress and animal form are both ridiculously large.
