Today we lost Syd Mead, an artist well-known for his work on Aliens, Tron, and Blade Runner. An icon for his detailed work, Mead was part of a trinity of artists who stoked my imagination as a child (Mead, McQuarrie & Frazetta).

Me: We don’t often recognize how love is an important theme in #Warhammer40k . We see it in the expectations (and failings) of paternal love, betrayals of brotherly love, and unrequited romantic love which inevitably ends in tragedy.
