There’s the most amazing example of screen acting I think I’ve seen at the end of Tinker Tailor Soldier Spy Ep1. Over just a few seconds, with barely a word or a gesture, Alec Guinness shows good old George transforming back into formidable Mr Smiley. Brilliant. Chilling.
